hemorrhoidectomy recovery
Has anyone her undergone a hemorrhoidectomy??
I may be facing this surgery soon. I’m going to the doc today to get another opinion. I’ve heard it’s just awful. Any help would be much appreciated and any ideas about recovery as well.
Yes I have after having my daughter at 19 they became so bad it was the only option at the time, I was 22 when I had the operation. Yes its not very comfortable for 2 days the nursing staff will give you pain relief if you are in alot of pain. The worst part for about 2 days is they make you have bowel movements its like passing glass. After 2 days it gets easier. I am free of piles just now but the Dr who operated on me told me there was always a good chance they would come back, they are only varocoise viens in the back passage, and after a while the pressure just moves on to other viens and they re occur. Its always a good subject for people to joke about, not funny if you have to suffer them. Its always a good idea to walk alot after the operation has been completed and dont get consipated. I wish you well.

Hemorrhoidectomy factories have touted painless or decreased pain and shorten healing times as the advantages of performing laser hemorrhoidectomy. There are no documented studies support these claims. In fact, a prospective study found no difference between scalpel and laser hemorrhoidectomy.
Stapled hemorrhoid surgery, or procedure for prolapsed hemorrhoids (PPH), has become prominent. This was first described in 1997-1998. During PPH, using a specially designed circular stapler with small staples. The technique involves placing a suture layers of the mucosa and submucosa circumferentially, approximately 3-4 cm above the dentate line. The stapler is placed and slowly closed around the chain bag.
Be careful to remove excess tissue at the internal hemorrhoidal stapler. The stapler is fired, the excess tissue resection and placement of a line circular staple above the dentate line. This results in excessive internal hemorrhoidal tissue resection, pexia of internal hemorrhoidal tissue left behind, and the interruption blood supply from above. PPH can be done on an outpatient basis using local anesthesia with intravenous sedation.
HPP is used primarily to treat internal hemorrhoids are not amenable to conservative non-surgical therapies. Drug abuse and recovery is significantly lower compared with generator conventional hemorrhoid surgery. PTT does not directly affect the outer fabric. The reports have described the reduction of external hemorrhoidal tissue after PPH, probably by decreased blood flow.
In patients who received PPH, the pain seems to be less severe and of shorter duration than it is in patients undergo conventional surgery. The use of the HPP is suggested in patients with large internal hemorrhoids and minimal external component. This procedure can be performed on an outpatient local anesthesia, similar to the protocol used for conventional hemorrhoid surgery.
Operative resection is reserved for patients with hygiene through large skin tags, a history of thrombosis multiple external or internal hemorrhoids problems. Performing the operation in the outpatient setting. The proper anesthetic care, attention to perioperative fluid restriction and postoperative care instructions can facilitate the recovery of patient.
Patients with ulcerative colitis can tolerate aggressive surgery if necessary. Treatment of the underlying acute illness before any surgery anorectal elective. Avoid aggressive treatment in patients with Crohn's disease, especially if the rectal mucosa is acute inflammation. Draining abscesses as soon as possible, despite active disease elsewhere.
PTT factories claim that these are the advantages of laser surgery in the ass, but there are no documented studies to support these assertions.
