severe hemorrhoid symptoms
Is this related to endometriosis?
have quite a high chance of having endometriosis (my sister has it, and I have a lot of symptoms). I was meant to have a laproscopy a few years ago (I’m 23 now) but decided not to, as it seemed pointless to have an invasive procedure unless I actually am trying to conceive.
I’ve been on the pill or the depo provera shot for a while, but recently came off it, so am back to having periods (well, sometimes- they’re incredibly irregular)
For the last few years, I’ve noticed that sometimes when I’m on my period I get anal bleeding at the same time. I’m not just talking about the odd drop (which I sometimes get anyway- I have haemorrhoids too- caused by IBS) but it can actually be a stream of bright red blood- far heavier than period blood, but only lasting the time I’m using the toilet.
I know there is some connection between endometriosis and rectal bleeding, but what is it? How common is it, and does it mean I have severe endometriosis? How can I tell if it’s related?
U’re best to get this checked out by the doctor…dont neglect things like this.
I suffer from endometriosis too and for me it had reached my bowel, uterus and bladder. I did have a laprascopy procedure done to remove a cyst and hence my endometriosis was also detected.
I’d say to go to the doctors and get it sorted…u don’t want to have issues for when you want to concieve.
all the best.
